The slideshow seen above is a compilation of various signs and stickers around the village of Port Jefferson. The number of examples or "signs" of parking throughout the village shows how prominent of an issue parking has become over the last three years.
Due to the technical limitations of posting images from Flickr on this blog, the captions accompanying the images cannot be seen. - Josh Seidman is a senior at Stony Brook University, with a double major in physics and journalism. He is also in the Stony Brook University Honors College. He has held reporting internships at Newsday and Commercial Property News and has held a physics research internship at Brookhaven National Laboratory. He worked for two years at Long Island Ultimate Athlete, a monthly Long Island high school sports magazine. At Stony Brook, he was a staff reporter for The Statesman. He is currently a freelance reporter for Newsday.
